Attention Junction City Area Artists!

From Eugene Storefront Art Project: "Painting the Town" By Brianne Limani Junction City TRIBUNE June 17,.

"Several empty storefronts are about to become showcases for local artists as the Eugene Storefront Art Project (ESAP) expands to Junction City.
The Eugene Storefront Art Project was organized by Marc "Time" Gunther with the help of local artists Paula Goodbar and Peter Herley as a means of connecting local art communities to downtown property owners by way of storefront art
and exhibitions in vacant commercial spaces.

To date, ESAP has done six installations with 12 artists throughout downtown Eugene. The project has helped generate
interest in local art and even helped some artists sell their works.

However, to get the ball rolling in Junction City, ESAP needs local artists submit their work. Anyone may submit whatever art they find
appropriate for public windows - installation art, sculpture, video, 2D visual art and any other media. ESAP encourages artists to
simply take pictures of their works and send them in.

Once ESAP receives submissions, they match the art to the specific venue available and the decision is left up to the storeowner.
ESAP is still looking to fill more storefronts in Junction City; any and all local artists are encouraged
to submit their work.

The application process is easy: send contact information (name, address, phone number, and email); a resume, bio or Website (where
you've shown, etc.); a proposal in which you describe your proposed work and how it would be displayed, the medium or media
you use, a brief statement of your vision and six to 12 images of your work to: paula.goodbar@gmail.com.

This is an ongoing process and artists will be selected as property becomes available. For more information, visit their blog at
http://esapblog.blogspot.com or find them on Facebook."
