Storefront art project to use old Taco Time

The Eugene Storefront Art Project is expanding into another vacant downtown property.

Work by artist Hosanna Haines is on display at 39 W. Broadway, the space formerly occupied by a Taco Time restaurant

“Taco Time vacated this property a couple of years ago, and we feel that this is a crucial corner to creating a sense of vibrancy and life for our downtown area,” said Paula Goodbar, co-founder of the project.

The Eugene Storefront Art Project is a group of volunteers who would like to restore downtown Eugene as a vibrant, exciting point of destination for the arts. It is headed by radio announcer Marc Gunther and artists Goodbar and Peter Herley.
