The Eugene Storefront Art Project 2011 Call for Art: HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ART

E.S.A.P. wants to place temporary art in vacant storefronts in Lane County. We are now opening this call for art to everyone, preferably local and Oregon artists.
You may submit whatever you think would be appropriate for public windows: installation art, sculpture, video, and 2D visual art. Take pictures of your stuff and just send them!
We will be matching the art to the specific venue available. Storeowners get to select what they want to use. Only ESAP members will be considered for installations.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES:

1) Contact Information – Name, address, phone #, email

2) Resume/Bio/Website, where you’ve shown etc.

3) Proposal – Briefly Describe your proposed work and how it would be displayed, the medium or media you use and a brief statement of your vision

4) Email or Submit between 6-12 images of your work, JPEG and size it approx. to 4”x6”. Be sure to include title and dimensions of each piece.

5) Only members of ESAP will have their art shown in storefronts. Annual dues are $5.

6) ESAP would like a 25 % commission in the form of a tax-deductible contribution if any pieces are sold.We have been selling art from windows and pop ups.

This will be an ongoing process and artists will be selected as the properties become available. You will not be notified until a property becomes available that is suited for your work. Please be patient and if any information changes within the next 6 months please send us the updated information.
