Dear Friend of The Eugene Storefront Art Project,
As someone who is passionate about art and its power, please allow me to offer FIVE reasons The Eugene Storefront Art Project is worthy of your support . . .
ONE
The Eugene Storefront Art Project exhibitions and public programs are always FREE of any admission charge. Hundreds of visitors attend Eugene Storefront Art Project events every year.
TWO
Eugene Storefront Art Project presents exceptional work by emerging and mid-career Oregon artists that you won't see anywhere else. As these and other artists we show continue to gain exposure and create new, exciting work, you can enthusiastically exclaim: "I saw them first at the Eugene Storefront Art Project!"
THREE
The Eugene Storefront Art Project remains dedicated to facilitate happenings and events in vacant storefronts, urban spaces and community oriented businesses featuring the work of artists in different media, such as visual art, performance and music. This year ESAP has presented concerts, poetry readings, workshops and classes.
FOUR
The Eugene Storefront Art Project was delighted to partner with the Lorig Group on West Broadway, Eugene. This year the ABAE honored the Eugene Storefront Art Project and Lorig Management for the 2011 Arts and Business Partnership Award, celebrating collaboration between the arts and business community. Collaborations like this one help insure even more people see compelling and important art in unexpected places.
FIVE
We have big plans! The Eugene Storefront Art Project wants to develop ways to use empty buildings as temporary studio space available to artists until rented. ESAP plans to start an award program for artists to defray cost of supplies. ESAP will continue to be a source for art education and a venue for new and local artists.
So, how can you help ensure the Eugene Storefront Art Project continues amazing programming like this? Here are FIVE ways YOU can help:
• Make a tax-deductible donation to the Eugene Storefront Art Project before midnight on December 31 at http://www.eugenestorefrontartproject.org
• Join or renew your current membership on line at http://www.eugenestorefrontartproject.org . Current dues are only $5 a year.
• Buy a membership or make a donation as a holiday gift for the art lover in your life.
• Purchase, for you or as a gift, a piece from a current installation or from one of the many talented regional artists currently featured at our ESAP gallery.
• Give $10 or more to Eugene Storefront Art Project through PayPal. All donations are fully tax-deductible. Go to: http://www.eugenestorefrontartproject.org
Thank you very much. Your support means the world to us and to the many artists we want YOU to see in our installations and galleries in 2012.
Appreciatively,
Marc Gunther, Executive Director & Eugene Storefront Art Project Member
